"The Wonder Years" stands as one of my favorite TV shows in the world. It was a good coming-of-age story that showcased the life of a boy as he grew into a man. The show was only heightened by the fact that it was able to take real adolescent worries and portray them well. One such episode that was easily identifiable by people such as myself made me think that main character Kevin Arnold could have put the best treatment for acne to use.

The episode that I'm talking about is called, "The Pimple." In this episode, Kevin finds out at the Pruitts and their daughter Gina, old family friends of the Arnolds, are coming over to visit. Kevin is ready to tackle the day and just as he's ready to see Gina, he notices a pimple on his face. Throughout the rest of the episode, Kevin tries desperately to clean and cover up the embarrassing zit on his face. It's a problem growing up and it's one that was handled well in this show.

Kevin's actions as a teenager are as identifiable as him actually encountering a pimple upon his face. When he isn't trying to scrub his pimple away, he resorts to actually squeezing it in an attempt for it to pop. It's the worst choice that a young person can make - and I say that from experience - but it's something that desperate young people will take on. There are other treatments that could have helped on the matter, though.

Go back to doing an old hobby following a child moving out or retirement to positively age. You now have ample time to focus on the interests that you had to leave behind over the years. When you have hobbies, you are able to stay active and have activities outside of the home.

They say youth is wasted on the young, but that's all the more reason to get your youth back. With the tips in this article, you'll be able to look and feel like you did years ago, but you'll retain all the wisdom age has brought you. It's Not Abnormal to Use Adult Acne Treatments

I was one of those people who believed that acne should have occurred exclusively in teenagers. As I grew up, I started to see some bouts of pimples come about and I couldn't understand why. There shouldn't have been a reason for them as I have been through this in my adolescence; basically, I have done my time. It's nothing to be ashamed of, though, since many older people go through it and it's the time where adult acne treatments can be put to use.

I think it was my biology teacher who told us during one class that acne can form on anyone's face. There Are Many Herbal Acne Treatments That Work

If you have ever wondered about herbal acne treatments that work, you can try a few out with things you may have around in your kitchen. While there are people who will laugh at the idea, there is nothing that will hurt you if you are willing to give it a try. You will be the one laughing when your skin is clear and looks great.

A quick face wash can be made by pouring boiling water into a cup that has some water cress leaves in it. After allowing it to sit for about 15 minutes, remove the leaves and let the remaining water cool down until it doesn't burn your finger. If you can't find any water cress and would like something even simpler, put a tablespoon of lemon juice in some warm water and use that instead. For a steaming facial, put a handful of chamomile flowers into a pan of boiling water and allow it to cool just a bit. Place the pan on the table and hold your face over it. You can hold a towel over your head and the pan to allow the steam to get to your face better. When you can feel the pores opening, wipe with a cool, clean face cloth.

A very good antiseptic that can be found in most kitchens is honey. You can put it on any pimples in the evening and let it sit until morning. It will work into the pores and kill off the pimple-causing bacteria. Don't spread it on too think or you might not be able to get off your pillow in the morning.

If you have a store that sells herbs in your area, buy some powdered red clay or bentonite powder. Mix it with apple cider vinegar to form a thick paste and use it as a facial mask. Allow it to dry completely before washing off. It will pull the impurities out through your pores and allow your acne to clear.

You can start you day with an oatmeal scrub. Grind some oatmeal in a food processor and mix in some tea tree oil and chamomile tea. Use it as you would any facial scrub. Once you rinse it off, wipe your face with witch hazel as a toner. Your skin will feel smooth and very clean.

Using herbal acne treatments that work can make your skin blemish free when used regularly. These products will not dry your skin out or make it all blotchy.
